The Basingstoke Green Week is back. This is a week of events, films, talks, parties and meetings all across the Borough. Last year was a great success with over40 individual events. This year is even better with events from how to fix your bike, book swaps, visits to an organic farm, and free bananas in the town centre.
The programme for this year is shaping up nicely. The whole thing kicks off in Festival Place on Saturday September 23rd with the Green Week market. Have a look at the Green Week Programme
There are some great events – from food to cycle, from walks to repair cafes. There is a workshop on building your own solar powered charge and a meeting on air pollution. Have a look at the programme and come along. There’s something for everyone.
Why should I get involved?
Well it fun. But this is a great opportunity to do something to make Basingstoke a cleaner, better brighter place to live. It a time to to find out more and ask questions.
