Climate Emergency Motions – pack the gallery on 18th!

Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council is debating a Climate Emergency Motion at its full meeting on Thursday 18th July at 6.30 pm. This is a momentous occasion for Basingstoke Transition Network, but we need your support to encourage the Council not to water the motion down.  Every Councillor needs to see that the public supports decisive action against climate change.

(b) ATTEND on Thursday evening – you can just turn up – or, if you can’t make it, watch the webcast.

(c) While you’re at it, WRITE to your COUNTY councillor, because Hampshire County Council is also considering a Climate Change Emergency motion at its meeting on the morning of the very same day (Thursday 18th July, 10 am).  Follow links from this page for more information:
